Counting every bite..
So I've heard that in order to lose just ONE POUND you have to cut 3,000 calories. So I've downloaded this application on my Iphone called "MyFitnessPal". You can keep a running update of all the food and drinks you intake every single day. You can also record any workouts you do and it will subtract those burned calories from your total day's calories.
So far I've lost 5 pounds... Although I really can't see where they were taken from. But I'll get there!

iPhone has an app for just about anything you may want or need, so it was a matter of time that they'd come up with something like that. I guess it would be helpful...if they had one for BlackBerry!
ReplyDeleteThat salad looks great. Actually, one pound equals 3500 calories. Good luck with your weight lost journey. It is so much easier to put it on than to take it off...Oddly enough, starvation doesn't work it actually helps you keep weight on. Try eating small nutritious meals every 3 hours to boost your metabolism and stick to about a 1200 calorie a day diet. Coming from someone who is over a 100 pounds lighter.
ReplyDeleteKORI SAMPLES...you do NOT need to loose weight...go eat a big mac:)
ReplyDeleteIt took me several months to get back close enough to my high school weight...which I'm almost back to. I did Weight Watchers for a bit and lost my 20 extra pounds from freshman and sophmore drinking binges. And my mother lost 50 odd or more pounds while I was in high school...watching her take it off was hard to worth it. And I agreed with asidney...you don't need to lose weight.
ReplyDeleteYes they Do have an app for everything! lol.. which is awesome!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Anita I'm on the 1200 calorie diet, I guess I forgot to mention that!
And yes Amanda, I do too! But thank you!
Good luck with that. It's a hard goal for so many people. I've needed to lose some weight for a while, but lazyness & slackin' just doesn't seem to be cutting it....
